TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Boarding Fees

Boarding fees are charged on a daily basis, not per night, and include arrival and departure days.

 

Payment is due for the full time that has been booked; there are no refunds for shortened stays.

 

Payment is due prior to arrival if paying by internet banking or on arrival if paying by cash.

 

We DO NOT have credit card or EFTPOS facilities.

 

Peak time bookings at Christmas/New Year (15 December to 15 January) will require a 30 per cent non-refundable deposit at time of confirmation; the balance to be paid no later than 2 days prior to arrival.

 

Fees for long term stays of 30 days or longer are payable weekly or monthly in advance.

 

Any unpaid fees will incur collection costs.

Vaccinations

All cats must be vaccinated annually and have a current vaccination certificate at the time of boarding. We no longer accept the 3-yearly vaccination protocol due to the increase in cases of “cat flu”.

 

Written proof of vaccination is required in the form of a fully completed vaccination book or a letter from your vet. These must clearly identify your cat, the vaccine given, the date it was given and the administering vet’s signature. Failure to produce this at the time of arrival could result in your cat being refused admission.

 

Worm and flea treatments must also be current at the time of boarding.

Medications

Owners must supply any medication required by their cat, which will be administered at no extra cost. All medications must be in their original containers and have the cat’s name on it. The name of the medication, its purpose and dosage must be clearly legible on the container together with the name and details of the prescribing vet.

Liability Disclaimer

All cats are boarded at their owner’s risk. Whilst every care will be taken to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all cats in our care, we accept no responsibility or liability for any illness, injury, loss or death whatsoever during or after their stay.

 

We reserve the right to consult a vet if we consider it necessary and all vet fees incurred will be payable by the cat’s owner.

 

We do not accept un-neutered adult male cats.

It will be deemed that these Terms and Conditions have been accepted on signing the booking form and/or leaving your animal in our care.
