Cats and animals mean the world to us. As proud owners of cats, horses and sheep, we know how important your pets are to you, which is why we have devoted our lovely boarding cattery to give your cat a real holiday whilst they are with us. Our wealth of experience and happy guests are evidence of the high reputation that Barndale Boarding Cattery enjoys amongst customers throughout Warkworth and the Auckland area since 1994.

The holiday experience your cat will love

We are proud to offer peaceful and spacious accommodation for your loved cats. Our cat hotel is situated at our home, on our rural farm with rolling countryside 10km from Warkworth. It is the perfect place for your cats to relax and enjoy their holiday.
While your cat is on holiday at our cattery, they will enjoy:

Best cat food
Comfy beds (we also encourage you to bring your cat’s own bed which they are familiar with)
Attentive care
The same love and sense of security as they would have at home

For their protection, we require that all cats boarding with us are vaccinated before boarding at our cattery. Please remember to bring your cat’s vaccination certificate with you when you bring your cat in for their holiday with us.

Look Before You Book

Our cat hotel is heated in winter and cool in summer. Every cat guest has access to the secured outside area, which overlooks the surrounding countryside for exercise and sunbathing.
We very much welcome viewings as we are very proud of our cat hotel and the standard of care we offer. In fact, we positively encourage you to visit our cattery before boarding to reassure yourself that our cattery is the right one for your pet.
